The CSRA League has decided to proceed with Allstars. Allstars will be held on Saturday, June 26th at the Augusta Aquatic Center. The top 20 times, across all 5 divisions in each individual event, will be eligible to participate. This is a huge accomplishment as the league has over 2100 swimmers this season! Each coach will submit the names of swimmers from each individual event likely to be eligible to swim. The league will compare times and the top 20 will be decided. An RSVP from these swimmers is required. If your swimmer is likely to participate but you are not able or not planning to attend, please let Coach Ben know so another Beaver may be given this honor!

"The 2021 CSRA Swim League will host an Allstar event at the Aquatic Center on June 26, 2021. The top 20 swimmers from each event will qualify. A Top 50 list will stay current on the website so that parents/coaches can prepare. Swimmer events will be limited to 2 events. Teams should have all RSVPs and events into SwimTopia by Thursday evening, June 24th. Please have the files exported and sent to David Kidd at [email protected]. You should expect the event sheets/heat sheets to be send out by late Friday afternoon to all teams.

The Allstar event will be organized in 3 sessions. See the times/age listed below.

9:00AM: Ages 13-19 Warmups 8:00AM

12:00PM: Ages 9-12 Warmups 11:00AM

3:00PM: Ages 6 & Under and 7-8 Warmups 2:00PM"

HOME vs CPS Swim Team -Tuesday, June 8th  @ Woodbridge Pool

PARKING: 

*Leave paved parking spaces near the pool and on the road in front of the pool for our guests convenience. 

*Woodbridge families will park on the grassy field behind the diving boards. *Access grassy field from the tennis court parking lot. 

*If you must park along the street, be respectful of property owners within the neighborhood. Do not park on their property or their lawns. A water meter was almost damaged at a previous Meet.

CONCESSIONS:

*Full concessions available - grilled hamburgers, hotdogs, pizza, drinks, candy and snow cones!

*Bring your appetite and support WBST with this important team fundraiser.

SEATING: 

* WBST will sit on the slide side of the pool. Bring tents/pop ups, chairs, etc.

*Visitors will sit on the Pavilion side of the pool.

VOLUNTEERS:

*All volunteers check in with Sarah Lambert (Volunteer Coordinator) at the Pavilion when you arrive to the pool.

*Please complete your assigned duty. Do not leave your station until your replacement has arrived to relieve you.

*POOL SET UP : Arrive at 4:00pm to prep pool for Meet

*CONCESSIONS: Arrive at 4:30pm to assist in concessions preparation.

*POST MEET TAKE DOWN: All hands on deck! Please plan to stay until our pool area is returned to its "pre Meet state". Many hands make light work.

HEAT SHEETS: *Heat sheets will be available on Swimtopia. Print your own copy. Copies will not be available at the Meet.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

*Pool is closed at 4pm. No one is permitted in the pool until team warm ups begin - unless directed by a coach or board member. *Baby pool is closed. 

*WBST swimmers are to remain in the pool area. Instruct your swimmer not to go to the playground or the wooded area behind WBST sitting area. 

*Do not leave the pool prior to the conclusion of the Meet without notifying Coach Ben. 

*Meet will progress quickly, so be attentive and escort your swimmer to their shepherd or appropriate lane. Shepherds are available to help but, ultimately, it is your responsibility to ensure your swimmer does not miss their events. 

*Label your swimmer using a sharpie (prior to sunscreen) on the back of (R) shoulder. First & last name and age. 

E(event) H(heat) L(lane) S(stroke Fr-free, Ba-back, Br-breast, Bf-butterfly) First line on example reads: Event 6, 2nd Heat, Lane 5, free style Write your child's swimmer's event grid on their arm for quick reference. Use sharpie prior to sunscreen.

WARM UPS:

* WBST will warm up @ 5:00pm - 5:20pm 

*Please have your swimmer geared up and ready to go prior to warm up time.

COVID: 

*There will be no specific restrictions during this outside event. If you or your swimmer are feeling unwell, please stay home. 

*Notify Bel Tharpe if your swimmer is unexpectedly not attending. 

*Bring hand sanitizer and use it frequently. 

*Please use your own discretion to keep you and your family safe with regards to masking and social distancing. 

Tuesday will be a fun, friendly, competitive evening!
